खौफ की खाल उतारनी रह गयी,

...और नदी अपनों को बहा कर ले गयी!

बहानों के फसाने चल गये,

ज़मानों के ज़माने ढल गये...

रुक गये कुछ जड़ों के वास्ते,

बाकी शहर कमाने चल दिये। 

खौफ की खाल उतारनी रह गयी,

गुड़िया फ़िर भूखे पेट सो गयी...

समझाना कहाँ था मुश्किल, 

क्यों समीर को मान बैठे साहिल?

तिनकों को बिखरने दिया,

साये को बिछड़ने दिया?

खौफ की खाल उतारनी रह गयी,

रुदाली अपनी बोली कह गयी...

रौनक कहाँ खो गयी?

तानो को सह लिया,

बानो को बुन लिया। 

कमरे के कोने में खुस-पुस शिकवों को गिन लिया। 

खौफ की खाल उतार दो ना...

तानाशाहों के खेल बिगड़ दो ना!

शायद उतरी खाल देख दुनिया रंग बदले,

एक दुकान में गिरवी रखा हमारा सावन... 

शायद उस दुकान का निज़ाम बदले!

घिसटती ज़िन्दगी में जो ख्वाहिशें आधी रह गयीं,

कुछ पल जीकर उन्हें सुधार दो ना!

*) - अपने अनुभव, प्रतिभा और जो भी जीवन में अर्जित किया उसका मोल समझें पर आत्ममुग्धता से बचें। सामने वाले व्यक्ति को परसों पैदा हुआ ना मानें। 

*) - निष्पक्ष होना दुनिया की सबसे कठिन कला है। 

*) - किसी की सहनशीलता को उसकी कमज़ोरी मत समझें। इलास्टिक को इतना खींचने की आदत ना डालें कि वो ऐसी घड़ी में टूटे जब आपको उसकी सबसे ज़्यादा ज़रुरत हो। 

*) - इतिहास कभी एक नहीं होता। इतिहास नदी की धाराओं सा इधर-उधर बह जाता है और लोग अपनी विचारधारा के हिसाब से उन धाराओं को पकड़ कर अपना-अपना इतिहास चुन लेते हैं। जो मानना है मानो पर मानने से पहले सारी धाराओं का पानी ज़रूर पीकर देखना....जिस पानी की आदत नहीं उसे पीकर शायद तबियत बिगड़ जाए पर दिमाग सही हो जाएगा। 

*) - सुरक्षित राह पर जीवन को तीन से पौने चार बनाने में बाल सफ़ेद हो जाते हैं और कोई दांव लगाकर तीन से तेईस हो जाता है। अब पौने चार से शून्य दूर होता है या  तेईस?

*) - सही, सकारात्मक और बिना किसी विचारधारा के प्रभाव में आकर किये गए सामाजिक अनुकूलन से समाज की अनेकों कुरीतियों से छुटकारा पाया जा सकता है।

*) - अक्सर भूल जाने लायक छोटी जीतों के गुमान में लोग याद रखने लायक बड़ी बाज़ी हार जाते हैं। 

*) - कला के क्षेत्र में केवल यह सोचकर खुद को रोक लेना सही नहीं कि ऐसा पहले हो चुका होगा। शायद हो चुका हो....पर आपके नज़रिये और अंदाज़ से तो नहीं हुआ ना!

खाना ठंडा हो रहा है...(काव्य) #ज़हन

साँसों का धुआं,

कोहरा घना,

अनजान फितरत में समां सना,

फिर भी मुस्काता सपना बुना,

हक़ीक़त में घुलता एक और अरमान खो रहा है...

...और खाना ठंडा हो रहा है। 

तेरी बेफिक्री पर बेचैन करवटें मेरी,

बिस्तर की सलवटों में खुशबू तेरी,

डायन सी घूरे हर पल की देरी,

इंतज़ार में कबसे मुन्ना रो रहा है...

...और खाना ठंडा हो रहा है। 

काश की आह नहीं उठेगी अक्सर, 

आईने में राही को दिख जाए रहबर,

कुछ आदतें बदल जाएं तो बेहतर,

दिल से लगी तस्वीरों पर वक़्त का असर हो रहा है...

...और खाना ठंडा हो रहा है। 

बालों में हाथ फिरवाने का फिरदौस, 
झूठे ही रूठने का मेरा दोष,
ख्वाबों को बुनने में वक़्त लग गया,
उन सपनो के पकने का मौसम हो चला है...
...और खाना ठंडा हो रहा है। 

तमाशा ना बनने पाए तो सहते रहोगे क्या?

नींद में शिकायतें कहते रहोगे क्या?

आज किसी 'ज़रूरी' बात को टाल जाना,

घर जैसे बहाने बाहर बना आना, 

आँखों को बताने तो आओ कि बाकी जहां सो रहा है...
